TAS Tax Tip: Georgia Taxpayer Advocate Service offices merge into the Atlanta City Center
The Taxpayer Advocate Service (TAS) merged two of its offices in Georgia into one office, the Atlanta City Center location, effective January 17, 2022. The two TAS offices in Atlanta were in close proximity of each other with only one having walk-in access. To ensure all taxpayers and representatives have in-person TAS assistance, TAS consolidated these offices into one with walk-in access in support of taxpayer’s right to he heard.
The Atlanta City Center office is located at the following address. The office is located at the following address:
Taxpayer Advocate Service
401 W. Peachtree Street
Room 510, Stop 202-D
Atlanta, GA 30308
However, walk-in services are suspended at this time due to COVID-19 restrictions.
