Pre-Filing Season Events

If you file your own federal tax return, be cautious and go to one of the Taxpayer Advocate Service’s (TAS) free pre-filing season events, being held in January, before you prepare your return. We’ll explain what items and errors can cause IRS delays when processing your tax return, so you can avoid them this filing season.

Simply check the calendar for upcoming dates and times for an event near you. Events will continue to be added throughout December and January, so if you don’t see an event right now, keep checking back.

With our 20+ years of advocacy experience we help thousands of people who struggle with IRS processes each year. Our Taxpayer Roadmap shows what a complex and confusing journey it can be, especially if there are errors on your tax return. So, get yourself better prepared to avoid those roadblocks by following our preventative tax tips before you file that tax return.
